LAKE MAGGIORE

The name itself identifies it as the biggest Island between the three of the Borromeo’s Gulf. Differently to the other Islands it has as its only building, the Borromeo’s palace furnished with furniture coming from the various different historical houses owned by the family. Surely a must visit, are its beautiful rooms like the lounge of the dolls, the lounge of the Seasons and the rooms dedicated to the puppets theatre.

This building is situated inside an English style garden, built in the early Eighteen Century, of about 8 hectares, which hosts an amazing vegetation that you can’t see easily in other places.
