Gargnano
The following stop is Gargnago; once an important agricultural and fishing center, the town is now a renowned tourist resort surrounded by olive trees and pastures along a mountainous region. Its ancient nucleus may be found around the square which overlooks the port. Here you will find the late 16th century Palazzo Comunale, and just nearby the Villa Feltrinelli (1894), the official residence of Mussolini from 1943 to 1945 before it became the "Università degli Studi di Milano".
